Come On In invites you to step into your favourite teen movies for one night as we dance the night away!

Come on down to our prom themed extravaganza, fill your glasses with some punch and see if you'll be crowned Prom King or Queen.

​

Starting off with a dance workshop for all abilities, our workshop leader will get you moving and shaking like no one's watching. From learning routines to coming up with your own moves, we'll make sure you have a fun night. Whether you're a professional like Jonny Castle, a free mover like Duckie or need a little liquid encouragement a la Kat Stratford, there's something for everyone.

The dance workshop will be followed by a screening of Beyond Clueless (2014), Charlie Shackleton's brilliant documentary which journey's into the mind, body and soul of the teen movie.

​

No prom night would be complete without the crowning of our Prom King and Queen, which we will announce alongside other brilliant raffle prizes, so be sure to get your raffle tickets at the door!

​

You will also have the option to take home our prom zine: a collection of short essays and musings on dance in the teen movie written by our very own Ellie and illustrated by Emily Cullen.

​

Leg warmers/prom dresses/bow ties very much encouraged.
